Intra-Oral Dental Assisting Level II 

only 8 weeks!


Students will be taught the following

Intra -Oral skills

  • Applies and removes dental dam
  • Selective coronal polishing
  • Obtains preliminary impressions
  • Applies treatment liner
  • Applies and removes matrix band and wedge
  • Applies anti-cariogenic topical fluoride gel
  • Applies pit and fissure sealant
  • Applies topical anesthetic

Licensing

Ontario is non- regulated province. The NDAEB certificate is required to use Intra-Oral skills in Ontario. Students are encouraged to apply for ODAA certification once successfully completing the NDEAB exam.




Admission Requirements:

  • Be a graduate of a recognized Level I Dental Assisting program (official transcript required)
  • Medical/Immunization Form completed
  • CPR Level C (current certificate required)
  • Proof of Radiology with H.A.R.P Certification

*Students who do not currently have their  H.A.R.P certification will be required to complete the radiology with H.A.R.P Certification course.
